I am unclear on why the weeks have turned to months when it comes to my referral to a specialist. This is a life-threatening condition, yet no one on your medical staff seems to share my sense of urgency.
Insurance is not the issue; my carrier has confirmed that I'm clear to see the specialist. The specialist is accepting new patients - I spoke with her office. And yet everyone is waiting on your referral.
Please let me know what I need to do to expedite the referral process. Clearly, my many phone calls and in-person visits have not done the trick. Thank you for any insight you may offer.
